The principal of Guidry-Coastal Architecture, Inc., Sam Guidry, is a former Naval Officer with a record of service in the United States Navy. He received his commission and studied at the Naval Civil Engineer Corps Officer School, Port Hueneme, California. His military experience includes:

He has worked on numerous governmental projects throughout Louisiana, North Carolina and South Carolina. Mr. Guidry also has worked on several hurricane disaster relief and reconstruction projects throughout the Carolinas.

  

During his service in the Naval Reserves, Mr. Guidry received several awards including: Navy Humanitarian Medal (Hurricane Hugo Recovery), two Navy Achievement Medals for professional achievement and superior performance of duties, Navy Defense Medal (service in military during conflict or war), Expert Marksmanship Medal (M-16); and Expert Marksmanship Medal (45 Caliber Pistol).

 

Guidry-Coastal Architecture, Inc.’s principal, Sam Guidry, served as a Naval Reservist from 1988 through 2007. His assignments included the following construction projects:
