Guidry-Coastal Architecture, Inc. (G-CA), is a diversified architectural firm located in Wilmington, North Carolina. The practice was established in 2005 and has completed numerous projects in the area of various building types, with varying budgets. The size and scale of projects include: Coastal Living Magazine’s 2009 Idea House to the Master plan layout and design of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, in Supply, North Carolina.

Since its inception, G-CA has provided quality design services for a variety of clients from the corporate level to private individuals. We believe in the future of the Carolinas’ and our ability to serve as a conduit between the architecture of the present and the past.

G-CA strives for clear and direct problem solving, which leads to design solutions that meet the project requirements and all economic considerations. We use our expertise to create highly functional and efficient buildings that strongly consider context, site, and aesthetics. Technical proficiency in our office and proper implementation in the field are mandatory for all our projects.

The company is organized and operates around the “Project Architect” concept. Every project, no matter what its size, is assigned to a project Architect who then becomes liaison with the client as long as G-CA is involved. All G-CA disciplines may contribute to a project, yet overall control rests with the project Architect. This assures the client of continual monitoring of progress and budget, which often results in the opportunity to accelerate schedules and minimize costs. It also saves the client time, by reducing the number of individual interfaces with the project.

Finally both client and Architect must feel a sense of achievement reached together through hard work. thereby producing a delightful building of distinctive, yet lasting design.
